Clean and pristine, the beach boasts excellent surfing conditions as well as beautiful surroundings that are great for picnickers. Burleigh Heads will give visitors a taste of life in a small Coastal Australian Town with a population of less than 10,000 people, it’s great surf, local markets and relaxed vibes. 9. For experienced surfers, Bells Beach in Victoria, home to the Rip Curl Pro Surf Competition since the 1970’s, is exactly where you want to be! Not only is Bell’s Beach home to some of the best surf breaks in the entire country, it’s also set close to the famous Great Ocean Road, so you can spend a leisurely few days exploring the region.
10. For Nature lovers Coles Bay, Wineglass Bay and Freycinet are a dream come true. With picturesque landscapes including pink granite mountains raising straight from the sea, holidaymakers can spend their time fishing, boating, bush walking, sea kayaking, rock climbing, or just doing absolutely nothing at all but taking in all the beauty.
