One of Syndey's Best Beaches
Palm Beach is the northernmost suburb of Sydney and only a short hours drive from the famous Opera House and CBD.

Uniquely situated on a peninsula with the waves of the Pacific Ocean lapping onto gorgeous golden sands on one side and the calm waters of Pittwater on the other it is easy to see why this spot has become home to some of the most affluent residents of Sydney.
BEACH LIFE
Palm Beach has something for everyone. If you like to surf, the northern section of the beach has some great waves. While the southern end of the beach is more of a protected area. Making it perfect for swimming ( There is a 35m ocean pool for those who want to do some laps) and paddle boarding. This is also a great spot to learn to surf, so grab a board or join Manly Surf School and you will be hanging ten in no time.
If you hop over to the other side of the peninsular, Pittwater provides a great spot to get out and feel the sea breeze on your face aboard a fast-moving yacht. Or maybe head over to Barrenjoey Boat Hire to hire a kayak. These guys also offer tours around Pittwater. Showing you secluded beaches and amazing views.

ICONIC LIGHTHOUSE
If you enjoyed our last blog post on Byron Bay you will love that Palm Beach has its own iconic lighthouse. Barrenjoey Lighthouse sits proudly on the most northern spot in Sydney. There are a couple of scenic walks up to the lighthouse which was built in 1881. Once you reach the top you are 91 meters above sea level and have the most amazing views over Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and the Central Coast.

HOME AND AWAY
We couldn't write about Palm Beach without mentioning the famous soap Home and Away. Fans will instantly recognise this area as the fictional Summer Bay. You can stop at the surf club for a bite to eat and an ice cream or for true fans why not join the Official Home and Away Tour. If you are lucky enough, you may even be in town on a day they are filming.
JUMP ON BOARD THE FERRY
Another great activity at Palm Beach is the local Ferry. Leaving from the wharf every hour, the quick 25-minute scenic trip takes you to Ettalong on the gorgeous Central Coast. Passing through the headlands can get a little bumpy some days but travelling past secluded areas like Lobster Beach and other inlets is a highlight of the trip.
Once at Ettalong, enjoy a stroll along the waterfront or stop for a chat and coffee at one of the many cute cafes. One of our faves is The Box on The Water.
